Launch Window is a launch-alert and trip-planning service operated as a sole proprietorship in Texas, USA. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for launch alerts.
• Mobile phone number — only if you opt in to SMS alerts.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs (IP address, pages visited) used for security and site operation.
• First-party analytics — we count page views and unique visitors using a random identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) and anonymous page-view records (page, date, device type, referring site). No third-party analytics or advertising services are used, this identifier is never linked to your name or email, and it never follows you to other websites. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How we use it

We use your contact information for exactly one purpose: sending you launch-related alerts and service messages you signed up for — launch window confirmations, date changes, delays, and launch completions.

Text messaging (SMS)

• SMS alerts are sent only to users who opt in through our website form.
• Message frequency is low: typically 2–6 messages per launch cycle, a few times per year.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages themselves (our SMS provider) or as required by law.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your email or phone number with advertisers.
• We do not send marketing on behalf of other companies.

If this business ever changes hands

If Launch Window is acquired by or merged into another company, your information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction — and the new owner inherits the promises on this page along with it, including the alerts-only use of your contact information. We would notify you before any such transfer, and unsubscribing remains one click at all times.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your contact information until you unsubscribe. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email, reply STOP to any text, or email us. To request full deletion of your data, contact us at the address below.
